Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy
Lynx Marketing Agency (“LMA,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you share with us through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have.
A note on scope: This policy applies to information collected through lynxmarketingagency.com and through our client portal, operated on AgencyHandy. It does not apply to the websites we build or manage for our clinic clients — if you are a patient of one of our clinic clients, this policy does not govern how that clinic collects or uses your personal or health information; please refer to that clinic’s own privacy policy for that information.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, clinic name, email address, phone number, city/location, and any details you share about your business or goals when you contact us or request a quote. We may also collect technical information about your use of this website, such as pages visited and general browsing behavior, through cookies and analytics tools (see below).
We do not collect patient health information through this website. If you are a prospective or current clinic client, please avoid including any patient-identifiable information in contact forms or emails to us.
Our Client Portal
If you’re a current client, we provide access to a client portal operated on AgencyHandy, a third-party platform. Through the portal, we may collect and store:
- Your account information (name, email, business/clinic name, login credentials)
- Billing and payment history
- Project files, deliverables, and communications exchanged through the portal
- Information submitted through intake forms
- Campaign and performance reports related to the services we provide you
AgencyHandy operates this portal on our behalf as a service provider, consistent with the “Service Providers” section below. We ask that you avoid submitting any patient-identifiable health information through intake forms, file uploads, or messages in the portal — this portal is intended for your business’s account and project information, not your patients’ personal or health information.
Payments made through the client portal are processed via Stripe and PayPal, AgencyHandy’s payment processors. We do not directly store your full payment card details.
You can review AgencyHandy’s own privacy practices at agencyhandy.com/privacy-policy and their terms at agencyhandy.com/terms-conditions.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect primarily to respond to your inquiry, provide a quote, deliver the services you’ve engaged us for, and — with your consent — to keep you informed about relevant updates or offers from LMA. We do not use your information for any purpose beyond what’s reasonably related to these goals without asking you first.
Cookies and Tracking
This website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience and to measure how our marketing is performing — including Google Ads conversion tracking and website analytics. These tools may collect information such as pages visited, time on site, and whether you completed an action like submitting a contact form.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site functionality may not work as intended if you do.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We work with third-party tools and providers that need limited access to your information to help us operate this website and deliver our services — including AgencyHandy, which operates our client portal, along with hosting, email, analytics, and advertising platforms. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform the specific function we’ve engaged them for.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LMA, our clients, or others.
- With your consent: In any other case, we’ll ask for your permission before sharing your information with a third party.
Where Your Information Is Processed
LMA operates with a team based in multiple countries, including Canada and Ghana. In addition, our client portal is operated by AgencyHandy, a third-party platform registered in Singapore, with operations and support based in Bangladesh and the United States, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a result, your personal information may be accessed, stored, or processed outside of Canada. Where this happens, your information may be subject to the laws of the country where it’s processed, which may differ from Canadian privacy law. By using this website or our client portal, you acknowledge this cross-border handling.
Payments
If you purchase services through this website, payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details — this information is provided directly to our payment processor, whose handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policy and applicable payment security standards (PCI-DSS).
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. If you’d like us to delete information we hold about you, contact us using the details below.
Your Rights
If you’re a Canadian resident, federal privacy law (PIPEDA) — and potentially provincial privacy legislation, depending on your location — gives you the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and withdraw consent for certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
If you believe we haven’t handled your personal information appropriately, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for business use by clinic owners and operators, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we’ll take steps to remove it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here, and significant changes will be highlighted. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
